Elm Creek Golf Links of Plymouth is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Plymouth, Minnesota.
The course first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by Mervin and Mike Klatte.
Elm Creek's greens are small and fast. The fairways are tree lined. Water hazards come into play on a few holes.
The signature hole is #9, a 177-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee down over water to a peninsula green. If you hit your tee shot too far, large pine trees loom behind the green.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,235 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,839 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 630 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 13, a 630 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 5, a 445 yard par-5.
The course closed in 2013. The land will be used for upscale residential development.
